The next fig we have is Agen Kolar. This guy's actually the only figure that's completely brand new. He's never been made before. I must say that he looks great. He also reuses Eeth Koth's hairpiece, so let's take a look at the two next to each other. Jeter, K. W. (1998). The Mandalorian Armor. New York City: Bantam Spectra. p. 144. ISBN 978-0-553-57885-0. Since the release of Return of the Jedi, Palpatine has become a widely recognized symbol of evil in popular culture, and since the prequel trilogy, a symbol of sinister deception and the subversion of democracy. The Star Wars Databank describes him as "the supreme ruler of the most powerful tyrannical regime the galaxy had ever witnessed". [8] Aside from the films, Palpatine appears in various canon and non-canon Star Wars media, including Clone Wars (2003–5), The Clone Wars (2008–14, 2020), Rebels (2014–18), The Bad Batch (2021–), Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022) and Tales of the Jedi (2022–), all set before the original trilogy. Molotsky, Irvin (November 29, 1987). "Reagan Wants End of Two-Term Limit". The New York Times. New York City. Archived from the original on July 23, 2020 . Retrieved December 21, 2018. Features Palpatine's apartment suite with detachable entrance with sliding doors, Mace Windu window catapult, Force jump lever, and detachable landing pad

Here's his double sided head It's pretty similar to one of the faces that he had in the Interceptor set, except this time he's not gritting his teeth. Not long after Sidious betrayed and orchestrated the death of Count Dooku in the Battle of Coruscant, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker began experiencing visions of his wife, Padmé Amidala, dying in childbirth. Disturbed, Skywalker sought the advice of Master Yoda; however, Yoda advised him to "let go of everything he feared to lose" which simply served to frustrate Skywalker, as he did not understand what Yoda was trying to say. Palpatine invited Skywalker to a show at the Galaxies Opera House under the pretense of providing him with intelligence on the location of General Grievous. While they sat in Palpatine's private box, he told Skywalker of a Sith "legend," "The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise," emphasizing that Plagueis had discovered way to use the dark side to influence midi-chlorians, an ability which could be used to both create life and cheat death. Aware of Anakin's plight, Sidious planned to use this revelation as bait to draw Anakin to the dark side. Anakin, desperate for a way to prevent his prophetic visions from coming to pass, questioned Palpatine on how one might learn Plagueis's technique, but Palpatine simply told him that it was impossible to learn it from a Jedi. Later, in the Supreme Chancellor's office, after Skywalker told the Supreme Chancellor about Obi-Wan Kenobi currently fighting Grievous, Palpatine finally revealed himself to be Darth Sidious, a Dark Lord of the Sith. Skywalker was torn between his desire to learn Sidious's power and his duty as a Jedi to turn him in. [1]Jedi Masters Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, Saesee Tiin, and Agen Kolar confronted Chancellor Palpatine upon learning of his secret identity as a Sith Lord.

Star Wars Battlefront II adds a canonical tale spanning the destruction of the second Death Star through the events of The Force Awakens. The story takes an Imperial perspective, following an elite squadron known as Inferno Squad, led by protagonist Iden Versio, as they help execute Operation: Cinder following the Emperor's death. Operation: Cinder was carried out by the Galactic Empire as a means of devastating several Imperial planets a few weeks after the Battle of Endor. The operation was part of the "Contingency", a plan devised by Emperor Palpatine to ensure that the Empire and its enemies would not outlive him should he perish. The plan was put into action following the Emperor's death during the Battle of Endor. [102] For all these reasons, they are not prepared for Palpatine to draw a lightsaber and try to kill them, and they pay the price. OTOH, Mace himself is a lot more powerful, and after seeing his companions die he is in no doubt whatsoever about what he has to do. The set itself is split up into several sections. There's the main office area, the doors, and landing pad, and the small ship. Some sections of this set are better than others, but it does look nice when it's all connected together. We're going to look at the ship first.a b c "Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious". Star Wars Databank. Archived from the original on June 28, 2011 . Retrieved January 24, 2020. The only villain included (sort of), is the iniquitous Chancellor Palpatine. This is the first Chancellor Palpatine figure from the live-action films which has been released and he is excellent. His hair is the same as that of the Clone Wars version, with a neatly tended hair style featuring some nice hair texture detail and a fairly accurate look for the figure. His head is great as well. Two faces are printed on the head piece, one of which shows his standard, more human, face with gritted teeth, blonde eyebrows, and many wrinkles which really expresses his anger as he fights the Jedi and is ideal. The other face shows him after he has been blasted by his own force lightning with many more wrinkles and a much more deformed appearance. Here, his eyes are bright yellow due to him being corrupted by the Sith and his teeth are yellowed slightly which looks amazing. The Sith have been no more than a legend for a thousand years. Deep down, the Jedi may simply find it hard to believe they have returned. Moore, Trent (June 23, 2016). "Aborted Star Wars Underworld TV series would've featured a 'sympathetic' Emperor Palpatine". SyFy Wire. Archived from the original on September 21, 2019 . Retrieved September 21, 2019.
