Description

It was Nino who decided to move the production in the 1950s from the small winery in the historic centre of Bardolino to its present location, with more space and improved practicality, in the hills above the village with a spectacular view of Lake Garda. Wines made in the original, traditional vineyard areas, close to the lakeside town of Bardolino itself, are designated as Classico. The wines are made by Allegrini using fruit sourced from outside of their estate vineyards and have a similar stamp of quality that sets them apart from most of the Veronese wines produced at this level.

Identification data will be, therefore, destroyed, unless otherwise provided by supervisory authorities, law enforcement or judiciary. There are over 40 wineries along the Lake Garda Wine Route – the Strada del Vino – which devote themselves to the production of Bardolino. The Superiore is a stronger aged wine, and was promoted to Denominazione di origine controllata e garantita (DOCG) status in 2001. Aside from their low-yield harvests, the quality of these Bardolino wines, especially the 2014 wines, received very high ratings.According to the 2018 procedural guideline the Corvina variety represents between 35% and 95 % of grapes used for production.

The central square (Piazza Matteotti) originally held it, with kiosks and exhibitions of all kind of instruments used for production. Currently, the sixth and seventh-generation Boscaini family members control and manage the winemaking at the wineries. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade. Bertani’s impact on Veneto winemaking, particularly in Amarone production, is so considerable that ‘Bertani’ and ‘Amarone’ are nearly synonymous. This combination of cool temperatures and bright sunshine is responsible for emphasizing the bright, fruity qualities of Bardolino wines.Even though data processing is usually carried out using the Controller’s server and/or third companies entrusted and appointed as data processors, within European Union. It goes with pasta and light summer recipes: caprese salad, ham and melon, rice salad and carpaccio. Since then a major investment programme has transformed the company and it now has modern production facilities and a new winemaking team rejuvenating quality across the board, while access to high quality grapes from the Veneto co-owners has enabled some excellent new wines to be developed. Despite the very gentle extraction here, those fresh red fruit notes are in abundance but lifted even further by a lovely freshness thanks to the coolness of the nights during the growing season.

As for traditional Italian cooking, this wine perfectly matches with main dishes and pasta: risotti, ravioli but also mixed legume soups. Like its more famous neighbor, Valpolicella, the wine is made from a blend of Corvina and Rondinella. Er harmoniert besonders gut mit mediterranen Gerichten wie Pasta, gegrilltem Gemüse, Fisch und leichteren Fleischgerichten. It follows a slow and delicate fermentation in steel tanks, in contact with the peels and constantly under temperature control.Quite soft and pale in tone, it offers up a charming perfume of red cherries; and then a pretty mouthful of red fruit. uk accepts no liability for inaccuracies or misstatements about products by manufacturers or other third parties. This elegant red is a case in point, made from handpicked grapes from plots in Bardolino between the east shores of Lake Garda and the Adige river valley.
